This coffee comes from the Guji region of Ethiopia and is incredibly delicious (I suppose we wouldn't have it if it weren't!). A lot of coffees from Ethiopia have a bright acidity, and while there is a tinge of that here, it is very well balanced and approachable. Roasted for filter coffee in mind, this bean truly shines with a pour over, but make no mistake it is an incredible choice for any brewing method. For somebody looking to expand their coffee repertoire, this is an excellent starting point, but it also has enough complexity to keep an experience coffee geek always finding more nuance.
